We live in a society holding up others, outside of ourselves, as sovereign.

  • the celebrities
  • the politicians
  • the gurus

We have been taught in the Piscean Age to hold up idols in lieu of acknowledging, recognizing, and claiming our own power and sovereignty. We have been instructed in big and large ways to

  • look to the outside for answers, before looking within
  • to not question hierarchy
  • to help others even when we are grasping at sanity, even when our own cups need to be filled first

The problem with this mentality? We underestimate our own power. We underestimate the impact of our own healing. We underestimate ourselves and our impact we have on the whole, on the world.

I believe each of us is so powerful; each of us with an important purpose that when activated has an important and healing place beyond measure.

But again, we have been well trained out of self sovereignty, thinking our worlds will crumble if

  • we are not informed
  • the right person isn’t elected
  • we disagree with our neighbors

Relying and grasping on the outside world to validate us and make us whole.

There is a lot of power being given away in this mindset. And too much to expect of the others outside of ourselves that we hold up as idols.

As we are moving into the Aquarian Age, I have felt the shift and welcomed the strength in personal power and its importance. The way to liberate others and help the world, I believe, is through liberating and healing within. Stepping into one’s purpose and living out what the Universe has brought each one of us here for in the most open, unblocked, and aligned way possible.

The power in this way is unbelievable, but there also is hurt and pain in this path.

It should not be feared, but it is not always easy.

This path requires letting go and opening to truth.

This journey to personal power has challenged long standing beliefs, it has required me to stand up and use my voice even if uncomfortable, it has required letting go of unhealthy relationships. It has been a death in many ways. A death of of many ways I once lived, believed, and followed, and the death of who I used to be.

But through this type of honesty and pain, is liberation.

When we start to drop what we have learned from the outer world through conditioning and start to cultivate our inner guidance system as the most powerful director of our lives, it is a re-awakening to the world.

The only true risk is not believing, is not trusting yourself.

You know the way.
